Winter’s Haven

Once upon a time, the Steve Miller Band wrote a piece called “Fly Like An Eagle”…

…which became duly famous and was subsequently covered by a band in the Netherlands called Soylent Green….

…who sadly sang the original lyrics unchanged rather than this variation:

Grab the people
Livin’ in the street
Grind them up
Into sausages and meat
Feed the babies
Who don’t have enough to eat
Oh, oh, there’s a solution!

I’m not usually much of a lyricist, but that one’s just self-evident.
