Comic: Thad Guy
I recently discovered the comic strip Thad Guy, which might be described as a love child of Dinosaur Comics and xkcd. Thad Guy often takes a comically twisted look at substantive philosophical issues. Here’s one of my favorites:

…and that guy’s dangerous-looking goatee really ties the strip together.
This sounds exactly how atheists reason. How sad. This is truly a post modern method of thinking: your perception of reality is right, my perception of reality right and no one is wrong…puke..yuck.
Umm… this is a comic strip. It’s meant to be funny. In this particular strip, Thad Guy (who is an atheist) is mocking sloppy statistics and bad epistemology. Your comment that “this sounds exactly how atheists reason” is a bit off the mark.
Yes, some atheists endorse radical epistemic relativism, but most of us do not. In particular, scientists are almost never epistemic relativists.
I should also point out that it’s not uncommon to hear Christians use epistemic relativism to defend their beliefs (these would be Christians of the “moderate” variety, not fundamentalists, who insist in the absolute truth of their beliefs).
